1981 Sovereign 5.0 17', Manufactured in Florida

This boat is in excellent condition, with many and upgraded parts and accessories. A 3-berth boat, 2 in the V-berth at the bow, and 1 bed port side under the cockpit. With running water and a small port-a-potty, this boat is the perfect pocket cruiser for day AND weekend sailing trips. The bottom was professionally painted in July 2013 by Scott Marine Services, so can be kept docked in the water (it is currently in the water, docked in Arnold). This boat is also very easy to tow and launch- making it the ideal boat to keep stored on land at your house or property. There are many local and community launch ramps, making it very easy to launch your boat while avoiding slip fees. The boat can be launched and under sail within 30 minutes. Setting up and collapsing the mast and boom is a very simple process.

Mast, boom, rudder, hull, shrouds, winches and fairlead are in perfect condition. The jib has a couple brown stains from storage but has no other problems. The halyard, jib and mainsheet are a little sun burnt but in great working condition.

New- Main sail, tiller, bottom paint, custom V-berth interior and exterior memory foam cushions, solar Panel, EMO portholes (with fly screen), refinished teak, interior insulation, all docking line and buoy’s replaced June 2013.

Engine- 2000 Mercury 5hp 2-stoke outboard. 2.5-gallon external fuel tank. In great condition, starts up on first pull. Motor was tuned by Lilly Sport Boats in August 2013, which included a carburetor overhaul replacement of remote fuel line and pump bulb, along with a new water impeller.

Trailer- 2010 Karavan KB2100 swing arm trailer. In June 2013 replaced ball bearings, wheels and submersible LED lights. Pasted MD state inspection June 2013. Swing arm helps minimize parking space and helps with launch and retrieval without drowning the tow vehicle. Easy to launch in low tide.
