Description: |
Fast and sleek, yet still enough headroom to comfortably accommodate 6'4 sailors this boat is built for blue water cruising with a focus on the finest materials and construction possible.
Owners version designed for comfort with 2 large staterooms each with a queen size bed and their own bathroom & shower. One aft, one forward of the spacious main solon with large swivel seat navigation table opposite the 3 sided incredible galley setup with everything a gourmet chef could ask for: large freezer, fridge, double sink gimbaled 4 burner stove/oven, microwave and easy access to lots of storage.
Forward of the galley is a dining table and U-shaped setee upholstered in Ultra Suede that seats eight for dinner or can entertain 11 people for poker. Opposite the table is another pullman sofa starboard. These 3 sofas have stowable lee cloths and can be quickly converted into beds for extra crew.
This is NOT a traditional Hans Christian full keel boat... Hans Christian commissioned the famous race designer Doug Peterson (also known for the Peterson 44/Fermosa 46) to create the perfect fast cruising boat. The Hans Christian Christina model was born! A modern fast yet comfortable cruising boat to be built and over engineered by Hans Christian defined by solid construction and emphasis on beautiful teak interior throughout.
Built smart: The boat has a removable inner forestay making it a cutter rig which is great when beating windward in above gale conditions allowing the smaller lower storm jib to be hanked on and reducing weather helm. Running backstays help reduce stress to the rig when going downwind. The skeg hung rudder keeps debris from damaging the rudder. These are just a few of the numerous features that make these boats so well regarded.
