Description: Is the Bruckmann 50 a Sailing Yacht or a Motor Yacht? You choose. Either way, you're right!

Under power, the Bruckmann 50 will outperfrom most similar sized trawlers, yet it can also sail better than many cruising sailboats. Reaching, in approximately 15 knots of breeze, you will be rewarded with speeds approaching 10 knots! The occassional use of both sail and power will deliver speed, comfort and a surprising degree of economy.

The Bruckmann 50 MKII is a semi-custom yacht, built to order. You will be actively involved in her layout,interor/exterior finishes and equipment specifications.

This is a serious boat for those who love the lure of sailing fast in a seakindly vessel, with the spaciousness and comfort of a trawler, and the flexibility to sail, or power, to arrive on schedule.

The Bruckmann 50, designed by Mark Ellis, has been highly praised for its sailing ability and handsome appearance as well as for its functional and expansive accommodations. It has proven to be, first and foremost, a swift and balanced bluewater sailor with the added advantages of excellent speed under power and amenities far beyond those found on most sailing cruisers.
