37' Island Packet 37

Up for sale is a 1995 Island packet 37 with a full refit.

This boat was owned by a single owner from 1995-2016. It sat on land for 5 years trying to get sold in Long Island, NY. The boat was barely used in those 20 years with only 246 hours put on the engine. It was kept at a yacht club and was winterized every year. When i went to look at it the stink didn't have a scratch on it and the teak floor didn't have a scratch on it either.

I took the boat over in July of 2016 and have refitted the entire boat by myself. I have been the only person to work on everything installed and i can guarantee everything is installed correctly, safely and neatly. The solar power and inverter work great. We are able to run the microwave and a hair dryer off the inverter and do not need to run the engine anymore for power.

Boat had major work done, The bottom paint was stripped down to the gel coat. There has been 7 layers of Interlux 2000E Epoxy barrier coat applied to the bottom followed by two coats of PCA gold bottom paint. The job was done by me and it took me about 70 hours worth work for the whole job. The bottom is now smooth as can be and will be good for approx 20 years! I have also installed a B&G Zeus 3 7" chart plotter at the nav station downstairs, along with a B&G Zeus 2 7' chart plotter installed in the cockpit. the B&G 4G radar has also been installed on the mast with a Kato Marine Mount with new bright LED lights on the bottom of the radar mount to light up the deck.
