Up for sale is the Rigmarole, a Benateau First 42 from 1981 in a used but good condition.

Designed by German Frers, and launched in 1981 the "Rigmarole" is very strong and easy-to-handle race-cruiser

Powered by a Perkins 50hp diesel engine and a 3 blade bronze prop she cruises economically at 6-7 knots under power. The sail inventory includes 5 different-sized head sails, 3 different-sized spinnakers, 2 spinnaker poles for the butterfly jib and a main sail, all in good condition. The interior offers a dining table for up to 8 people, 2 double cabins and 3 additonal berths in the saloon so the "Rigmarole" can sleep up to 7. She features an original teak interior finish, 2 Heads with Showers plus 1 Swim Shower. The galley has a stove/oven, a large benchtop area with Double S/S sinks and a fridge. The ˜Rigmarole" has a Windless electric anchor winch new in 2013, 2 anchors, an electric winch new in 2015, two 9amp solar panels on the bimini and 2 semi-flexible 9amp solar panels and a Magma barbecue grill new in 2015.

Currently the "Rigmarole" docks at the Royal Jamaican Yacht Club in Kingston, Jamaica.
