This boat was recently hauled, repaired, and surveyed. The survey value is $53,500.00. Over $11,000.00 was spent during the haul out.During the haul out the seams were re-caulked. Avalon is a well maintained 1975 double-ended sailboat that is ready for travel, live aboard, or to be used for business as a charter vessel. The boat is 64 feet long and fifteen feet wide with a five foot draft with its full keel with 2 thick mahogany planks over 5 x 5 ribs. It has 6' 6 headroom throughout with many large opening ports in each cabin. The steering station is behind the aft cabin that has a captains chair and seating on each side. There is also a large center cockpit that can be set up with a large table. The cockpit has a front companionway that leads down to the main cabin in front and another companionway in the rear that leads to the aft cabin. There is a wide walk around deck on each side with tall gunnels that give the boat a secure feelings in any sea. From the center cockpit you can go down into the main cabin where the galley is to port with a three burner propane stove and sink. It has a large food pantry. Opposite the galley is a navigation station to starboard and a large refrigerated ice box on the to starboard side as well. Just forward is the main salon with a dinette to starboard and a large settee to port. There is a private cabin forward with the head to starboard and a large sink and large cabinet to port. It has a large combination head and shower to starboard with a large sink and cabinet on the port side. The is plenty storage and cabinetry through the boat.
