Description: |
Lovingly restored by a General Motors engineer. Over a two year period the boat was 100% disassembled, refiberglassed, repainted and refit with all new stainless steel bolts, nuts and screws. All holes were over-drilled and properly epoxied prior to reassembly.
The trailer was ground down to bare metal, primed and triple coat painted along with new axle, hubs, wheels, tires, lights, carpet and hardware.
The new engine is a 5hp Lehr liquid propane long shaft outboard with an 11lb fuel tank. Less than 150 hours she runs great and has been impeccably maintained. Never deal with gasoline or ethanol again! Engine runs 10 hours on one tank of propane and achieves a top speed of 7 knots. $30 of fuel used per summer.
The interior features new cushions and marine teak paneling. A 12v system was added with automatic bilge pump, interior lights and open circuits for additional equipment. |
