Description: |
This 1977 Dufour 31 may be vintage, but it's packed with charm and functionality. Perfect for cruising or couples seeking a cozy liveaboard experience! She is well kept and turn key ready, as well as beamy, which makes it deceptively roomy down under. The cockpit is well designed and can easily be single handedly sailed.
We have lived on the Condor for 7 years now and really don't want to let her go, but it is time to upgrade to something bigger. She has been all up and down the east coast and Caribbean. Note that we are looking to sign her over to a new owner around the last week of April, we will still need to live on the Condor until then. The slip it's currently in at Sunset Marina in Key West and is transferable which is huge. At $1355 a month, that's the cheapest you can find around here, and for a couple living aboard, the difference of having a traditional apartment may very well save you as much as the boat is worth in a couple years. Also fun fact, in Florida the Condor is considered an antique, meaning you will save hundreds a year on property tax.
Maintenance and Upgrades: We've spared no expense in keeping the Condor shipshape with regular maintenance, and with upgrades including new rigging, batteries, and instrumentation.
West Marine 12' Dinghy and 8hp M outboard is included, starts every time and title in hand.
Addressing Concerns: While she's in great condition overall, there are a few aesthetic issues and minor repairs to consider. We're transparent about these and happy to discuss solutions with potential buyers. |

Addressing Concerns: While she's in great condition overall, there are a few aesthetic issues and minor repairs to consider. We're transparent about these and happy to discuss solutions with potential buyers. Most issues are just aesthetic Deck paint Accent hull paint Older bimini canvas and sail cover Last haul out was 2016. You may want to think about taking her out and re painting bottom in the next couple years The jib furler pops out of socket from time to time, still functions, but might be something worth replacing eventually Genoa is slightly too large, will have to sell or trade for a smaller one The spreader lights need to be re wired if desired |
