46' Queen Long Marine Stevens 47

A proven cruiser ready for new adventures!

In the early 1980s, Stevens Yachts built 56 Stevens Custom 47s at Queen Long Shipyard in Taiwan before selling the molds to the yard, which continued to build it as the Hylas 47 and, later, as the Hylas 49.

The Sparkman & Stephens-designed Stevens 47 has a solid-fiberglass hull and a balsa-cored deck. It's beamy, but the powerful cutter rig, low-deadrise hull, and elongated fin keel put it among the faster cruisers of its era. The hull's sharp entry eliminates pounding in all but the heaviest weather, and its easy motion in a seaway is attributable in part to the fact that the weights of such major components as the engine, which is well forward under the cockpit, are centered well away from the ends.

Belowdecks, the tone is set with teak: solid teak, teak veneer, and a very solid teak-and-holly sole. Passages to port and starboard of the companionway, each with just over 6 feet of headroom, connect the saloon to the large master stateroom and aft head. The galley occupies the port walkway; to starboard is a full, forward-facing nav station. The engine, beneath an ample "kitchen" counter under the cockpit well, is fully accessible on three sides.

Angel's Wings is a Sparkman and Stephens designed cutter (#2390), but I sail her as a sloop. Both the Yanmar 100hp turbo and the 5kw Kohler generator have less than 2300 hours.
The Rochna 33 comes with 300 ft of chain and an electric windlass with foot operation at the bow. 690 watts of solar, and a 12v fridge freezer with independanly controlled cold plates. 16k BTU AC and 18 gph water maker. Boat also has a fixed aft swim platform. Electric flush heads fore and aft. Standard V berth, bunk beds, and a centerline aft queen stateroom with access thru the port galley and the starboard head. Raymarine E60 electronics with AIS, SSB shortwave, Epirb, and Irridium Go. 6 man life raft expired and out of date. Salon table is trifold seating 8. Boat is dry. Sails are in very good condition, and the spinnaker is new and never used. New trysail and I have the rolling furling hardware for the staysail, but I have not replaced the old one though it was shot. Boat comes with 2 foldable bikes, Highfield 310 dink with 8 hp 2 stroke Yamaha outboard. Also included: washer and dryer, Barracuda Sewing machine, Force 10, 3 burner stove with oven, New Grill topside starboard aft with 3 fiberglas 17# propane tanks in aft portside propane locker. Homemade Hookah for bottom cleaning, and many spare parts.
