24 Ostkust Sloop - Molly Bawn Hull #48 (1950)

Designed by renowned Al Mason in 1944 and built by master craftsman Joel J Johnson of Bridgeport CT., Molly Bawn represents one of the finest early examples of traditional East Coast yacht design.

The Ostkust - Swedish for East Coast - was Masons tribute to Scandinavian Folkboat elegance combined with American offshore integrity. Measuring 24, the Ostkust is known for its full keel, graceful shear, and impressive seaworthiness - often described as overbuilt for her size and capable beyond her dimensions.

- B & G Zeus3 S 9 chartplotter with standard and forward scanning transducers installed in a varnished mahogany frame hinged in the companionway so as not to compromise the integrity of the boat by cutting a hole in the bulkhead.
