28' Cape Dory 28

For sale by owner is hull #2 Cape Dory 28, Fayaway. This boat has been setup for long distance cruising and ocean crossings but is just as at home cruising the Chesapeake Bay where she currently resides near Baltimore.
With 400 watts of solar, 75 gallons freshwater tankage, and 40 gallons of diesel supplying the low hour Yanmar 2GM20F, you'll be equipped to go anywhere the winds blow.
The canvas dodger and Bimini top as well as custom interior cushions were done by the previous owner, Avery Boyer, owner of Aegean Canvas in Annapolis (https://www.aegeancanvas.com/about), who is also responsible for the bulk of the refit.
The Pacific Windpilot has been replaced with dingy davits and a new Pelagic autopilot system but could discuss its inclusion with the sale as I still have it. There are also many spare parts for the engine.
I was planning on sailing her to the Bahamas in October, but a have gotten another boat so I'm listing it at a price to sell. I will be listing it with a broker if it hasn't sold by then so act now to get it at a deal.
