Description: |
Great little boat, easy to sail. I've had it for the last 20 years, bought it from a guy who regularly took it out on Lake Michigan. I've sailed on lakes in and around Denver.
The Snark Sunchaser II is a classic two-sail (sloop rig) daysailer thats stable, lightweight, and easy to manage. This one comes with a Highlander trailer, making transport and launching a breeze.
Features Two-sail setup (main jib) with 100 sq ft sail area Durable ABS Armorclad hull with foam core (unsinkable design) Lightweight (125 lbs) can be trailered or even car-topped if needed Capacity up to 4 people (900 lbs)
This boat has been set up for easy solo sailing and fishing but still works great as a family or beginner boat. Its stable, forgiving, and fun with the added benefit of being light enough to launch almost anywhere, but still fast enough to give you the true feel of sailing with a main and jib.
Note: there are some small cracks in the ABS plastic hull, which the boat has always had since I bought it. It does not affect the boat at all since the core is foam. |
