The Islander 37 has the classic lines of the 70s and a bullet proof fiberglass hull. The predecessor to the IS 36, it has a sleek performance cruiser design that is very well powered. Its A quick boat in light winds but heavily built to handle offshore. Its been perfect for going out to the islands for extended periods and doing costal trips up and down the coast. With its Great Bones and its fresh paint its at a perfect point to outfit her to your needs. Everything on the boat is in good working order and ready for a quick trip. She has a newly Rebuilt Yanmar 3gm30f that has been very reliable with low hours! The interior seems to be rare to sister boats with all solid teak and mahogany which was a huge reason I bought the boat. Its a very cozy liveaboard for you or a couple like weve been enjoying for the last 3 years. Were looking for a bigger, long term boat to go cruising on and thats our only reason for selling.
