22.6' Coastal Recreation Aquarius 23

We have moved on to a larger boat, so it's time to pass on La Tortue to her next owner! This is a great first sailboat. It's easy to rig and launch, and simple to sail. I've made a number of improvements and re-fits during my ownership to make it more comfortable and safe to sail. This boat is perfect for the small lakes, rivers, and bays around PA/NJ/MD with its shallow draft and easy handling.

Sail inventory; Rolly Tasker Coastal mainsail w/ 2 reefs and powerhead. I only sailed the boat twice after rigging the new sail. Have the original mainsail as well.
Genoa is a UK 130%, in fair condition
Symmetric spinnaker also included, though condition is unknown, I never took it out of the bag.

The boat has a depth sounder mounted forward and a speed paddlewheel. It has functioning running lights, anchor light, and cabin lights.

The boat has (2) danforth style anchors, with about 100' of chain and rope rode.

An older 9.5 Evinrude 2 stroke will be included in the sale. The motor runs and makes power, but needs a good carb clean, as it struggles to idle.

The hull is solid fiberglass, with a balsa cored deck - fairly typical construction. There is 1 soft spot on the deck.

The standing rigging is all 1/8" 1x19, and is about 2 years old. Chainplates are in good condition.

Running rigging is in good condition - I also have brand new sheets & halyards that will go with the boat.

The cockpit cushions were new this spring. The galley stove has been retrofitted to propane. The sink is fed from gallon jugs under the counter. There is a chemical head in front of the midships bulkhead which provides some privacy.

Boat is on a single axle trailer w/ a brand new 3500# axle & hubs. Both wheels and tires were also new this year. trailer is not titled currently, but is inspectable/all lights work, etc.
