15' West Wight Potter 15

Purchased in 2023 and specially refitted/equipped for extensive self-sufficient microcruising. Shes ideal for someone who wants a microcruiser ready to go on anything from weekend voyages to longer sailing expeditions. Ive sailed her around Washington and British Columbia and lived aboard up to three months at a time. Other West Wight Potter 15s have sailed the Inside Passage to Alaska, Mexico to Hawaii, California to Baja Sur, down the Intercoastal Waterway, and across the North Sea.

With the lifting keel, she can float in six inches of water and can be pulled up to the beach. You can drop the mast easily to go under a bridge, or trailer her to distant cruising grounds. Shes essentially a miniature cruising boat that can go anywhere you can take a dinghy.

2024 Hanging interior stowage bags - run along sides of cabin for clothes, food, etc.
2024 Homemade self steering windvane - modeled after windvane used on 13 Baluchon microcruiser. Works in moderate to strong winds, not so great for light wind sailing. Removable if necessary.
