Freyja a 1970 Nautor Swan 40 designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built by Nautor Swan in Finland.

Measuring just shy of 40ft in length, with a strong hand laid GRP hull with a fin keel of lead and a skeg hung rudder.
11ft beam provides upwind performance and downwind stability with classic lines.

Freyja is hull #2 and features larger bulkheads than the rest of the line. Solid glass hull and decks, with a foam core coachroof. Fiberglass tabbing throughout hull and bulkheads. She also features a stainless steel skid plate on keel.

Powered by a Perkins 4108 inboard diesel engine, recent complete overhaul that replaced many of the main components.
Custom exhaust system that prevents back flooding and a custom fuel system for filtering/scrubbing/priming for safety and reliability.

Feathering Max-prop propeller for max efficiency motoring. Prop-speed fowl release coating.

Classic cruising interior offers practical accommodation for extended cruises. Secure nav station with large desk. L-shaped galley with deep sink and large top load refrigerator.
Large V-berth forward, 2 pilot berths outboard, and 2 aft quarter berths.
Large removable teak salon table. Ample storage throughout. Large head compartment with manual marine toilet.

Sloop rigged with a triple reefed mainsail and Genoa foresail on furler. Additional pre-rigged forestay and hardware for removable solent rig included. Custom mainsheet/traveller. Hydraulic adjustable backstay.

Ground tackle includes a 20kg Rocna anchor on 300ft of 5/16 chain. Maxwell 1500 powered windlass with up/down foot controls. Additional Danforth anchor.
