1974 Ranger 26 w/ New Yamaha 9.9 & Raymarine Tiller Pilot $3,200

I am selling my Ranger 26 (Mull design) which is currently on cradle in the boat yard. It has a steel keel in very good condition, ground & epoxied & with new keel bolts installed in 2021. This is a project boat, not in original condition. The boat is currently stored mast-down but the yard will assist at launch.

This awesome boat could be a "blank canvas" for a custom refit. Its tough enough for the race to Mackinac Island (previous owner) but very manageable for a solo sailor or couple casually looking to learn how to sail.

Includes cradle, mast, boom, and all sails, including a very low-mileage, like-new Kevlar genoa. Older 155% kevlar genoa, mainsail in good condition (washed, dried, and folded every year by Kent Sails), mainsail cover, hank-on jib with downhaul, 125% headsail, and spinnaker (never used by me).

Electronics: Raymarine ST1000 3.3-Ton Tiller Pilot (custom installation but removable).

Motor: 2022 Yamaha T9.9XPHB High Thrust 9.9 HP Long Shaft. Purchased brand new in Spring 2022, it has under 20 hours of run time. It has been winterized and stored indoors for the last two years.

If you want to fix her up, learn to sail, or need advice on affordable local summer dockage, I will do everything in my power to assist you after close.

Sold as-is, where-is, and must be moved by 5/30/2026 (boatyard has a hoist). No major mechanical or structural defects are known, but qualified boat survey/inspection is highly recommended. It needs basic cleaning and the installation of a garboard drain plug before launching.
