Our well-loved Tina, a 1978 Pearson 323, is now for sale/sail. We purchased in the summer of 2020 and it has provided an excellent introduction to cruising the Puget Sound- North, Central and South- for our growing family. However, as this specimen wasnt optioned with a quarter berth, we find it too small for longer trips for our family of now 4 and are purchasing a larger sailboat. Weve made a lot of improvements to Tina (actually Christina) since purchasing, most of which occurred in the end of 2020, including: -All new standing rigging and several chain plates -1 new opening porthole -New manual head pump -New Bluetooth capable Kenwood stereo -Galvanic isolator -Racor fuel separator/filter -New AC panel, new AGM grp 27 house batteries x2 and a new dedicated starter battery. New battery selector switch. Victron battery monitor, new 12v/USB plug in bank. New Smartplug for shore power. -All interior lights replaced with LED, most of which are dimmable in both red and white light -New LED anchor light, super-bright spreader (deck) lights -New headliner (not installed as Im 6ft 2 and thus about .5inches too tall for the cabin when I have my shoes on.) -New genoa -New jib sheet, main sheet, reefing line -New strut for drive shaft -New transmission (V-drive) and low vibration mounting plate -New anchor rode (I think 150ft of chain attached to 100ft of three braid) -New starter last month. -Repowered with new Beta 28hp in 2006 by PO. Total engine hours are unknown, although weve kept meticulous engine hour logs since purchase so that we dont run out of diesel (fuel gauge inoperable) and when to change the oil. Changed oil/filter every 100hrs
2026 WA State Moorage Pass on the mast. 12 month sublease of a 40ft slip @ Harbor Island Marina if desired. |
