Description: |
1990 Beneteau First 41 S5 Sailboat. I am the second owner of this boat. Shes spent most of her 30 years on Lake Erie. She then was re-powered with a beta 43 engine and had a custom Dodge and Bimini made. The running rigging was replaced. she was then transported to the Chesapeake buy truck. A four bladed feathering, Maxi prop was added at the marina, which gave her incredible instant power in reverse versus the old two bladed fixed prop. I took her from the Chesapeake down the intercoastal waterway, eventually ending up in Fort Myers. A new air conditioner was added last year. most of the electronics were replaced last year. This year, new wind in instruments at the top of the mast along with all new wiring in the Mast and a new custom Harkin below deck roller furling was installed. The backstay was also replaced. The interior design was done by the famous French designer PHILIP Stark, it features rich mahogany with white marble countertops. it has two bedrooms and two baths. Before the Dodgers and Bimini were added, I thought of her of a race cruiser she is now more of a cruise racer. |
