The Perfect Escape -- is a Gemini 105M named Lucky Stars. Lucky Stars is hull #642, designed by Tony Smith and built by Performance Cruising Inc. in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1999. She measures 34-feet long, beam of 14 feet and variable draft from 18 inches to 5 feet, depending upon configuration of the centerboards and rudders. An air draft of 48 feet allows Lucky Stars to clear many fixed bridges that stop other sailboats.
It is rare for a 1999 boat to have had only two owners, but such is the case with Lucky Stars! Most recently the boat was purchased near Annapolis in October 2024 and sailed single-handed to Florida. The owner has kept the boat well maintained and made important repairs and upgrades, including a new centerboard (2024), refrigeration (2025), solar (2025) and three new AGM batteries (2026).
Lucky Stars is an exceptional value for a sail-away catamaran. Lucky Stars can be viewed at the Safe Harbor Marina in Cape Coral, Florida, through April. |
