Used - like new
The versatility of this MacGregor 26M has allowed us to enjoy many adventures; from 3 day stays on Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park, spending weeks on Flaming Gorge in Wyoming/Utah and our first leg (30 days) of the American Great Loop (AGL) from Hammond, ID to Mobile, AL. We hate to give it up but our needs have changed. At a length of 25 10 and a draft of only 12 (with motor up), we have enjoy being anchored where few boats may be found. We found both the length and shallower draft to be an advantage while doing the AGL. Most marinas charge by the foot. We have always been able to find and fit into smaller slips. The boat is easily maneuvered into slips or docks at marinas. There are many upgrades on this boat. This boat has the BWY Lake & Day Sailing and Coastal Cursing packages. It has a Lone Star drum winch and a swinging companionway ladder. See the detail pages in the photos. With a larger fresh water bladder, solar, and a 5 gallon port-a-potty, longer stays in beautiful, more isolated places, are possible. Being anchored creeks and waterfalls coming off the mountains is so calming. Morning breakfast of bacon and eggs on the water or a hot dinner with only natures sounds was always enjoyed. We have memories of playing games or watching movies in the late evenings. With the setup on this boat, we were able to take naps or prepare lunch while underway. So, with many fond memories we are ready to pass our boat on to you. May it bless your family too.

SAILS: Main, 100% jib, and spinnaker.

POWER: 60HP Suzuki DF60A outboard engine with approximately 220 hrs. 12 Gal Fuel Tanks (2) - With a total of 24 Gallons of fuel. Range of 100 miles at high RPM cruising, and near 200 miles range at lower RPM speeds.

RIGGING: BWY EZ mainsail handling with masthead topping lift. Mast, rigging and ball bearing mast base with block holes upgraded in 2020. Roller furling system for jib, all sheets and halyards led to cockpit, mast raising system, custom outhaul, single line reefing, boom vang, babystays, custom
quick rigging hardware, jib/genoa sliding car blocks, sliding tack cleats, rudder quick release cam
cleats, spinnaker bowsprit.

NAVIGATION/COMMUNICATION: New in 2025 Hummingbird Helix 5. Included: compass, Standard Horizon GX2150 Matrix AIS radio with second RAM3 remote at helm.

ELECTRICAL: 2 house batteries, single engine battery, battery charger, 30 amp shore power system with
standard GFCI outlets, 120VAC circuit panel, Majestic 12 volt TV w/DVD and remote, AM/FM/MP3/CD marine stereo with remote, 12VDC circuit panel, 12V acc plug, 12 volt LED lighting with optional red lighting, 100 W solar panel with MPPT controller.
