36' Islander Yachts Islander 36

Very good condition 1975 Islander 36 by Islander Yacths, priced to move.

Assessed by surveyor at $35k but I need to sell quickly. Make me an offer and sail it this summer!

Cossack sleeps up to 7 but is easy to single-hand; furler and all sheets run to the cockpit. Inside there's a V-berth up front, starboard setee converts to 2 bunk-bed berths, dinette converts to double, and there's a quarter-berth port aft.


Surveyed in 2024; deck & hull assessed as excellent. Full survey available on request. Bottom last painted in 2023, cleaned & zincs changed every year since.

Equipment:
- Full complement of sails (Spinnaker, main and 4 jibs from 165 Genoa to storm jib), in varying conditions, but all serviceable or better. Everything except halyards runs to cockpit.
- Winches: 2x Lewmar 43 two-speed, 2x Lewmar 30 two-speed for foresail. 2x Lewmar for halyards, self-tailing Lewmar 40 for mainsheet.
- Lewmar windlass with 10kg bruce anchor, 75' chain and 200' rode.
- Perkins 4108 diesel w/ 3000 hs, starts on first try, runs smoothly
- 12v lead starting battery, 2x6v lead batteries in series for house, 120V inverter
- 2x50W solar panels w/ charge controller for house batteries
