Description: |
Small cruiser or large day sailor, this is a very nice sailing boat and is completely suitable for Lake Champlain. It has a centerboard that rests inside a ballast keel (does not intrude into the cabin) and draws 2 feet with the board up and about 5 feet with the board down. It has a nearly new mainsail with new cover (used two seasons), an adequate roller-furling lapper, and an extra jib (hank-on, but could be converted). It also has a new front hatch that does not leak. It is powered by a 2013 Yamaha 9.9 hp with electric start. The motor starts easily and runs well. The trailer is also included ... it is rough but functional, and has a newer hitch connector with brake controller. All of the normal "stuff" you need to go safely sailing is also included. "Lark" is currently on her trailer (with the mast up) at the Champlain Bridge Marina. She will be launched soon and will remain in a slip at the marina (which is paid for the season). I will be happy to show the boat almost any time. |
