Description:
The Alerion 28 has been described as the Ultimate Elegant daysailer. The Alerion 28 was designed by Car Schumacher based on preliminary deisgn influence from Nathaniel Herschoff more than a century ago. The classic deck and top sides hide the modern underbody that features an elliptical keel and spade rudder making this a traditionally beautiful yacht that performs exceptionally well.
The minimalist interior features a V-berth, quarter berth, main head and small salon area. The ample, comfortable cockpit features ergonomic use of sail controls for short-handed sailing yet enough room for 5-6 adults. The modern, efficient rig sports a performance Hall Spar mast, a fully battened mainsail, a self-tacking jib and a 145% genoa controlled with a Harken furling system.

Equipment:
The direct drive (shaft) Yanmar-1GM engine complimented with a Martec folding prop provides the vessel with efficient auxiliary power. This boat is equipped with RayMarine wind instruments, a VHF radio and analog compass.
