The Trismus 37 is a unique offshore cruising design intended for sailors who want both ocean-crossing capability and shallow-water access. Its wide, shallow keel carries all of the lead plate ballast at the lowest point of the boat, while the large-capacity diesel and water tanks are completely enclosed within the keel. Combined with the traditional kick-up centerboard, this design provides excellent stability offshore while allowing exploration of shallow bays, anchorages, and coastal regions inaccessible to many deep-draft cruisers.
