Description: |
Drove up from VA and purchased boat, in January of 2026, in Skaneateles, NY, where it had been sailed on fresh water NY finger lakes by the original owner. Although vessel was then under winter shrinkwrap, rather than having that removed, I requested that a slit be made for ingress and inspection as I wanted it to remain under shrink wrap for the drive back to VA and until Spring. Vessel was resealed for the trip home.
When Spring arrived I removed the shrink wrap and discovered NY registration decal showing 2022, indicating that this Eclipse had likely been under shrink wrap for several years and much of it's life.
The boat, gear, and cabin furnishings are all in excellent condition. Sails are crisp. Ready to sail.
Vessel currently berthed in a slip on Smith Mountain Lake, Huddleston, VA, and available for a test sail. Title in hand.
Will consider trades (plus/minus cash) for cruising yacht in the 30' range located on US East Coast. |
