Designed by Rob Humphreys, the Oyster 54 is a proven blue water cruising yacht known for its balance of offshore performance and comfort. "Belle" does come with a significant history. During Hurricane Irma in 2017, the vessel was knocked onto her starboard side and remained there for several months. After being righted, a fire broke out in the aft cabin and was extinguished using saltwater. The vessel sustained hull damage above the waterline on the starboard topsides. Fiberglass repairs were completed on the starboard side.

The current owner purchased the vessel in 2018 with the intention of restoring the interior while living aboard and cruising. He has lived aboard since then, and he recently has sailed her to Deltaville, Virginia. Due to health-related circumstances, the project remains unfinished, leaving an excellent opportunity for the next owner to bring her back to her full potential.
