26.75' Hake Seaward 25

We are the third owner of Piper's Dream. A hake Seaward 25: Length 25 ft, LOA 26 shallow draft: winged 8ft long, 2 feet deep keel officially she should weight roughly 3600lbs but it is with a standard equipment (outboard, tiller etc.) Piper with pedestal and inboard has more like 4000lbs. The keel weights 1200lbs. The boat is originally designed for coastal cruising and beaching.
Powerful Inboard Westerbeke 18hp Diesel. Well maintained and checked. Pushes the boat to almost 7knots.
Sleeps comfortably 2 and uncomfortably up to 5. Perfect boat for a couple over a weekend or even longer.
The boat has the original head sail set-up because it seems to be easier when lowering the mast for transporting than a roller Furler. But feel free to add one.
Standard equipment:
Legally registered Trailer! Trailer was refurbished and overhauled in 2024: new hydraulics and electrics, wheelbases were checked and got a new lubrication system. Trailer comes with 2 spare wheels

Pedestal with destroyer wheel.
4 anchors
2 Admirals or Babe seats, swim ladder
2 batteries 24 or 27 size.
Shore power, comes with 2 x 25 ft shore power line, the boat has 2 x 2 110V sockets. Sorry: no inverter!!

4 head sails: storm sail, 70%, 100% and Genoa 135% NO ROLLER FURLER
Harken self tailing winches for jib sheets.
Cushions deep cleaned and rarely used! We spent about 4-5 nights aboard since we had her.
All 8 port holes are stainless steel and can be opened and have attachable Mosquito nets.
The boat has a water tank and a warm water heater and a shower but we NEVER used either. So: no idea if it works!!

New halyards main and head sail
Bottom paint VC17 renewed 3 times since we own it. Last time in 2026
New PPS! Propeller Shaft Seal in 2020 together with strut bushing.
Cabin lights switched to LEDs

Dual Batterie charger installed and connected.
2 Caframo Bora Fans installed.
UHF Antenna fixed.
Steaming and anchor lights fixed
Trailer egally registered and overhauled from Eagle Trailers in Lawrence.
Motor is very well maintained: oil changes, filters
Installed the lazy jacks
Installed an easy filling system to winterize the boat.

We add:
A lot of dock lines and spring lines, new fenders in 2026
A lot of electric-, sail-, plumbing-, motor maintaining equipment-, cleaning and lubrication stuff comes with the boat.
