Description: |
Super Tramp 1983 Farrier Super Tramp mast is 4" longer than standard Tramp. Early Farrier design with folding amas. (float hulls) 20' long, 14' 9" beam, 8' when folded on the trailer. Boat is very safe and dry with a huge cockpit. 1400lbs, solid glass construction, no foam or wood core. Centerboard and kickup rudder. Swim ladder.
Large storage forward storage area plus dedicated anchor locker. Danforth anchor with chain. Another large storage area aft of cockpit, as well as space forward of and under cockpit floor.
Boat has an outboard motor well. An 82lb 24V trolling motor is included which will push the boat at 4 5 knots in flat water. Batteries are not included, but wiring is installed to allow for battery placement forward of the cockpit.
3 sails: Original main and 100% jib. Main is serviceable. Jib is in better shape and rarely used. Also a 130% genoa of unknown brand, also serviceable. Jibs are hank on with brass hanks.
Original mast and boom with winch at mast base. Standing rigging is in good shape but of unknown age. Running rigging is also in good shape. Has jack stays for easier main sail storage. New mainsail cover.
Nets are older but in good shape. Repainted in 2022 and again (partial) 2026 with Interlux Toplac Plus. Bottom is Interlux 2000e 2 part primer with VC-17 antifouling paint. Only been in the water one season since bottom done. Harken 6 primary winches in excellent shape, with winch handle.
Single axle trailer in excellent condition. Bearings were re-packed in 2022, and both tires replaced. Trailer jack and winch are both new. Two spare wheels and tires.
The boat can lifted off the trailer with the four included boat stands. (Each rated 2 tons.)
The boat overall is in very good shape and ready to go sailing right now. I dont have a suitable place to put it and it should have a new owner who will use it and enjoy it! |
