Designed by Judel/Vrolijk, the Hanse 470e (epoxy) fractional sloop is renowned for combining exhilarating sailing characteristics with spacious and comfortable cruising accommodations. She has become a flagship of the Hanse line, with the tall rig and high freeboard, shared with Hanse's own 545.

The result is a 47 sailing yacht that carries herself like a bigger boat: a fast, stable, and comfortable passage maker. Hanse's self-tacking jib system and thoughtfully designed deck layout make her a natural for shorthanded sailing with easy access to every winch, halyard, and furling line from the helm.

Scacciapensieri has spent the last twelve years in the hands of an experienced sailor who has upgraded her with intention - premium equipment selected for reliability, offshore capability, and outstanding sailing performance.

The hull is epoxy laid composite, Corecell, quadaxial glass, vacuum bagged.
Bulkheads are glassed to both the hull and deck.
