1991 Endeavour 42 Center Cockpit Proven Bluewater Cruiser
Fresh from an ambitious 9-month voyage from Lake Ontario to Antigua and back, this 1991 Endeavour 42 Center Cockpit is far more than a comfortable dockside cruisershe is a proven, voyage-ready bluewater home built for sailors with places to go.
Her recent adventure speaks for itself. Before departure, significant time, care, and investment went into preparing her for extended offshore and liveaboard cruising, including the addition of a watermaker, solar, and more. She has since completed the journey south through the St. Lawrence, throughout the Caribbean, and safely returned north through the Hudson River, demonstrating the capability, comfort, and reliability serious cruising buyers value most.
The Endeavour 42s centre cockpit design is especially well suited to couples or families planning extended time aboard. It provides a secure, well-protected cockpit, excellent separation between living spaces, and a notably spacious aft cabin with a true queen berth. The two-cabin layout offers the privacy and practical storage needed for life aboard, whether cruising the Great Lakes, heading south for the winter, or setting out on a longer offshore passage.
This is an ideal yacht for the buyer who wants to skip the usual years of preparation and begin cruising now. She is already equipped and proven for the lifestyle many sailors dream about: independent cruising, extended stays at anchor, and confident passage-making beyond home waters.
Highlights include:
Proven Lake Ontario-to-Antigua-and-return cruising history
Prepared and upgraded for extended offshore and liveaboard use
Watermaker and solar for greater independence at anchor and on passage
Centre cockpit configuration with secure, comfortable sailing space
Spacious two-cabin layout
Private aft owners cabin with a true queen berth
Excellent separation of cockpit, salon, and sleeping accommodations |
