34' Hunter 340

She is turn-key, running great, in a slip in Catskill, NY. Ready for you to test and inspect.

Selling because were just not getting enough use out of it:
- We moved and now have an hour drive to the the slip
- My wife and daughter just dont love sailing. Cant justify the $5,000/year spent on storage and maintenance

LAYOUT:
Hunter 340 is one of the earlier, more affordable models that offers efficient cruising with a modern design. Built to last. Perfect for coastal cruising and entertaining guests:
- Very spacious, comfortable, uncluttered cockpit, with large center table
- Stainless steel arch keeps the boom sheet out of the cockpit
- Sugar scoop aft has large platform and swim ladder, allows great access to the water
- Ample storage above and below-decks
- Bright, spacious cabin

SIMPLE SHORTHANDED SAILING:
- All lines led to cockpit
- The H340 has a B&R (Bergstrm & Ridder) ⅞ fractional rig. This allows for no backstay, a large & highly efficient mainsail, and a smaller, easily handled jib
- In-mast roller-furling mainsail and roller-furling headsail

CONDITION:
- After seeing (and smelling) many H340's and similar cruisers when we bought ours in 2022, we went with this one because it is very clean, dry, and turn-key. It remains that way, Absolutely no mold.

- Well-maintained: yearly oil changes, stabilized fuel, etc.

- Until 2022 was in Long Island Sound. Since then has been in the fresh water of the mid-Hudson river, no barnacles to deal with. I have been allowing the many coats of bottom paint to wear off. The grey you see is still bottom paint.

- The rear double berth is missing the mattress section that goes under your legs/feet. I chose not to replace it since I store life jackets there. With a camping pad or blanket on top of the life jackets it lines up with the mattress and is very comfortable.
