Dickerson 37 Aft-Cabin Ketch Proven Offshore Cruiser
Designed by George Hazen, Dickerson yachts are known for classic lines, fine craftsmanship, and rugged offshore capability. This 37-foot aft-cabin ketch has crossed the Atlantic and returned to the Chesapeake Bay, where her 4.5-foot draft is ideal for shoal-water cruising.
Warm teak joinery and a teak-and-holly cabin sole give her timeless nautical character. She sleeps four to six in three areas: a forward V-berth, private aft-cabin double berth, and convertible salon berth. A portside walk-through connects the salon and aft cabin while providing convenient engine-room access.
The forward cabin includes a large V-berth, storage below, overhead hatch, two opening ports, hanging locker, and drawers. The bright, well-ventilated salon offers a navigation station, settee, folding bulkhead-mounted dining table, convertible double berth, and ample storage.
The galley features a gimbaled Dickerson three-burner propane stove with oven, deep stainless-steel sink, hot/cold pressure water, foot pump, dry storage, multiple lockers, and a large Adler/Barbour refrigerator with spillover freezer.
Opposite the galley, the roomy head includes a Wilcox-Crittenden manual marine toilet, stainless-steel sink with hot/cold water, shower stall, wet hanging locker, and generous storage.
The aft cabin offers an athwartships double berth, drawers, cabinets, and under-berth storage. Above, the center cockpit has an Edson pedestal, stainless-steel wheel, bulkhead-mounted instruments, and a two-level storage locker. Matching sail covers, dodger, and full cockpit enclosure provide protection underway and comfort at anchor.
With her proven offshore history, versatile ketch rig, comfortable layout, and shoal-friendly draft, this Dickerson 37 is ready for coastal cruising, bluewater passages, or life aboard.
