Cherubini designed shoal draft keel Hunter 25. Great sailor, complete refit in 2012 and continuous upgrades and maintenance since. All new standing and running rigging. New main, practically new spinnaker, used but good condition genoa and working jib. New outboard motor 2013. New portlights and near new forward hatch. LED nav and anchor lights. Lots of other upgrades and improvements.
THIS IS A DRY BOAT! As part of the refit EVERYTHING was rebedded in butyl, including the entire toe rail and all stanchions. There are no leaks in this boat.
I took off the furler because I prefer hank-on jibs personally but I still have the roller furler and genoa, both are included.
Great sailor, very forgiving with its 50% ballast to displacement ratio but still lots of fun with the tiller steering it is very responsive. You can find some good videos of this boat here:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjFoRXobYskShoal draft keel means we never worry about anchoring too close to shore, 3.5' draft. All the strings are there for the experienced sailor (adjustable backstay, vang, traveler, etc etc) but this also makes an excellent learning boat. It is big and seaworthy enough to be considered a true keel boat, she quickly recovers from a knock-down and when you push her too hard she lets you know by just rounding up.
We regularly fly the spinnaker and all the gear and rigging is there for it.
This is a completely up to date boat, it does NOT need any TLC or expensive gear I already did all that but now am moving up to a bigger boat. I have probably put more money into the boat than I'm selling it for at this point but that is just how it goes so take advantage of this deal.
