Above and below decks the Jeanneau 44DS has been designed to provide the maximum comfort, easy of handling and safety. She is also beautiful whether under sail or simply waiting in her slip. The entire deck layout has been designed for ease of handling and safe travels fore and aft. The large cockpit provides comfortable seating for 8 adults. The dual helms offer easy views forward for the helmsman and the electric rewind winches make shorthanded and solo sailing a breeze. The open transom with step down swim platform offers easy access to the dinghy and stern boarding. Wide side decks and tall stanchions offer safe passage fore and aft while anchoring and docking.

Below decks the 44DS is pure comfort. Her Deck Salon is bathed in natural light accented with beautiful wood finishes and recessed lighting and features a full dinette and a long bench settee with a chaise cushion on the forward end creating a comfortable lounging area. Where the 44DS really sets herself apart from similar boats is her two cabin layout. The owner's cabin is aft and is absolutely gorgeous. With the beam carried far aft and the cockpit sole raised the aft cabin is very spacious and open. The bunk is almost king sized. The forward cabin is very spacious as well and boasts a large island double and private head with shower.
