Description: |
The ship was built as part of a small series in 1983 by “Form ‘Ocean” a professional steel Shipyard in Nantes, France. The design “FRUIT de MER” was conceptualised by the renowned French yacht architect Michel Joubert, who developed several types of lifting keel cruising yachts from the mid 70ies to end 80ies and later designed the known Gib'Sea and Oceanis series. The draught is 210 cm with descended keel, can be reduced to 80 cm by lifting the keel, a big advantage in coral waters, tidal areas and rivers. The keel is operated by a winch and steel cable, easy maintenance. The lifted keel is stored in a bar-like furniture (see photos of the interior) that separates the living room into two aisles. |
