CONSTRUCTION
Fiberglass with balsa-cored deck; lead ballast; masthead sloop with aluminum spars and stainless steel wire standing rigging; spade rudder and fin keel; dark blue hull (painted in linear polyurethane in 1997) and white decks, Wheel Steering
ACCOMMODATIONS/LAYOUT
Sleeps 6 in 2 doubles and two singles; Vee-berth forward, enclosed head next aft on port with toilet and sink; hanging locker opposite the head; next aft on port is the saloon with a U-shaped dinette (converts to double berth) on port and a straight settee/berth on starboard; galley is aft to starboard and has engine driven cold plate ice box and manual cold water at stainless steel sink, cooking is with propane with three burners plus and oven; opposite the galley is a chart table and a single quarter berth. Dodger frame, New dodger, for cockpit.

SAILS/RIGGING/WINCHES
SAILS: Two 169% roller-furling headsail, Two main; Three spare headsails (2-150% and 115%) Plus spinnaker.
RIGGING: Dacron running rigging
WINCHES: 10 all told - Barient 26 2 speed primaries, Barient 22 secondaries, two Barient 10's on aft end of cabin top, two Barient 10's on mast, one reel main halyard winch, one reefing winch on boom.
MECHANICALS
AUXILLIARY: Atomic 4, 30 HP gas engine with fresh water cooling, plus 2 spare Atomic 4, 30 HP engines.
WATER SYSTEM: manual cold water at galley and head sinks
WASTE SYSTEM: Mansfield TDX treatment system
ANCHORING SYSTEM: Danforth anchor with several feet of chain and 200' of line.

COMMENTS
DESIGN: a benchmark, successful racer-cruiser that helped to put C&C Yachts on the map; still sails very well in absolute terms and with respect to its PHRF rating.
