If you're looking for day sailor that is fast, comfortable, and a dream to sail, that is also good for extended weekends on the hook, you've found it. This Cal 2-25 has been meticulously upgraded, cared for, and is ready to go. She is sloop rigged with fin keel, spade rudder and deck stepped mast. Hull and topside received a professional paint job a couple of years ago. She is equipped with a 2016 9.8 Tohatsu 4 stroke engine (approx 51hrs) that will get you to your destination worry free should the wind drop. She has newer sails, upgraded electrical panel, marine head with brand new holding tank and Y valve, and many newer upgrades. She is clean as can be.
This boat is turnkey and ready to go. No finer Cal 2-25 on the market! We love this boat but have decided to move on to a larger boat. She needs new owners who will care for her as well as we have!
Accommodations
Entry from the companionway that has been modified with "Starboard" and opaque lexan, it is four steps down to the salon. To the port corner is the galley followed by a 5'4" settee with 15" leg extension and full storage beneath. Across is another 5'4" settee connected to the 7'2" quarterberth (note: qtr. berth has no cushion, we use it for storage).
The galley has a 12" X 9" X 5" deep stainless steel sink with new Whale manual freshwater pump and storage beneath plus and a 27" deep ice box. An opaque plastic door utensil compartment is above the counter.
Forward of the salon is the split head compartment with Jabsco manual M.S.D. to starboard and vanity with 9" round stainless steel sink to port with new Whale manual freshwater pump. Under the sink is a utility drawer and large storage locker. A medicine chest with two opaque plasitc sliding doors is above the counter. A sliding door provides privacy between the salon and head.
Forward of the head is the 6' V-Berth with filler cushion and four storage lockers under the berth. A 21" X 19" hatch is over the v-berth. |
