"Viva", is a Cheoy Lee Offshore 48 by Bob Perry. She is a world cruiser...sailed from Hong Kong to South Africa and has remained in Atlantic waters most of her life. She is a great spacious liveaboard, beautiful design, and easy to sail. At present, the boat is in the restoration mode= new Snow White AllGrip on the hull, cabinsides and cockpit, all bilge and locker spaces painted, as well as the interior in white with teak trim and doors giving her the classic look.As well, the engine has been replaced with a rebuilt Prima 50HP and the generator- Northernlights- has 400 hours. All the interior fabrics are new- in a gold/tan- and still in storage. The mast was replaced with a very strong Proctor rig,Sparcraft boom, and new Seldon jib furler......The list goes on but basically Viva is progressing to be a turnkey go anywhere yacht in top condition. Accomdations below are spacious and relaxing- a great aft cabin with big double and private head and shower. Then, the dining table on one side and galley adjacent. Forward and down one step is a large salon area with a convertible double to port. Forward of the salon is a head/ shower accessible to both the main cabin and the forward cabin. One great feature of "Viva" is the ventilation provided by 9 opening ports, and 5 on deck large hatches. The boat will be ready for delivery in May- and can even be delivered by present owner if need be. As the boat is not photo ready yet- a sistership photo is included. Only difference is that Viva has varnished teak hatches and a teak deck in very good condition.By listing in advance of completion, it is still possible for a prospective buyer to participate in special requests of his liking. |
