30' S2 2.9 30 foot

SOLD... It will not remove. This is a 1984 S2 brand 30' sailboat with a center cockpit and three cabins. The boat is at a slip in Lake Allatoona, GA. Wheel steering. Yanmar diesel. The hull is solid glass with an encapsulated lead keel. Many upgrades and new parts. The main cabin has a nice wood folding table with settee on each side. The teak wood table from the main cabin fits into locks so it can be used in the cockpit. There is cabinet storage behind each settee. Headroom is 6' 2" plus in the main cabin that narrows to 6" 0" as you go forward. It has teak and holly floor in good structural condition but has some stains from the past. Bulkheads and all wood are in good condition. It has a nice vee berth forward. I must be around 6' 6" long and there is plenty of height there too. Amidships, it has an enclosed head to starboard that goes under the cockpit. It has a sink and cabinet with standing headroom along with a small bathtub. The head is new. The has a large holding tank. The galley is to port. It has a two burner propane stove, sink with 12v pressure water, and a 110v refrigerator with a freezer. It also has a large icebox. The aft cabin is nice with a double wide bed that is wide enough for two and plenty long. It has two lockers to port and one large locker to starboard. It has a small table next to the aft bed. It has a Nav table that we do not use.

It has a Yanmar 2GM diesel motor that starts every time and runs well. It has 1,425 engine hours. It has a Racor secondary filter with a water strainer and a 30 gallon fuel tank. It has a three-blade prop that is in good condition. It has a separate AC and DC panel. There are DC lights in each cabin and three 100-volt outlets in the boat. It has a new Rule automatic switch for the new bilge pump. It has a DC water pump system for the sink in the galley and in the head. The marine battery was new in 2017 and it has a new dual battery marine battery charger. It has a 30-amp 110-volt service and a 50' AC marine electrical cord. The instruments are original. The traducers work but the displays no not. I added a depth finder with an audible alarm. The mast was totally rewired. It has a new masthead light and new mast NAV lights and a foredeck lamp. It has an new deluxe wind indicator with the bird preventer.

It has a new Pro Furl system with a new forestay and a turnbuckle. It has a 150 percent North Genoa that is about 15 years old but has seen very little use with new furling line and blocks. Much of the running rigging has been replaced in the last year or so. It has all new halyards that feed into the cockpit. It has two self-tailing primary winches for the Genoa and two winches on the cabin for the halyards. It has both a plow and Danforth anchor with a new 150 foot anchor rode that are stored in the anchor locker on the foredeck. It has a factory mounted bow roller. The cockpit is very comfortable and large for the boat size. It has a cockpit cover for use as a sunscreen while at anchor. It has an Edson wheel steering with a Ritchie compass. The table from below will fit into hooks on the Edson pedestal for eating in the cockpit. It also has a four cup drink holder on the pedestal. It has several new blocks and a Harken traveler. It has double lifelines with a bow and stern rail and a built-in stern swim ladder. The dock lines are new.

We are offering this boat for sale as we ended up with our son's boat and we cannot be on two boats at one time. The slip is available with a slip fee that is $160.00 a month. It is a gated dock at the best place to be on Allatoona for sailing. The slip has electricity and water. The dock mates are friendly and there is a sail club at the marina.
