Full Keel and Fast The Fabulous Freya 39
This no-nonsense double-ender fills the bill for long distance cruising. Strong and fast the ORIANA was built in Califorina in 1978 for Stig Krogh. Included is an article about Stig and the ORIANA. (see pics)
The design is 39' LOA, 34' WLL, 11' beam, 6' draft, 22,000 lbs displacement, sloop rig, flush deck, round bilge, full Keel, double ended with cockpit, stainless steel helm to oversized quadrant sheeves and wire rope steering system. The engine is a Yanmar diesel. A three blade prop is set midship below the galley with removable panels for immediate access. a two blade prop is also included.
The interior has a large V-birth, 92" single settees on both sides of the main cabin, quarter birth under the cockpit, All solid Teak counter tops throughout, solid Teak corner post, Teak louvre doors throughout, the hull is completely paneled with Teak slats, full galley and head, Nav. station, 16,500 btu central A/C and heat and a diesel heater.
