40' Far East Yachts Mariner 40

Windrush II is a solid offshore cruiser with many thousands of miles under her keel.

Designed by William Garden and built using mahogany over laminated white oak frames with bronze rivet fastened.

Windrush II just completed a Pacific crossing in 2015-2016, logging 15,000 miles with all weather conditions without any major issues. Since then she has been cruising the Philippine Islands and getting her cabin work done.

The present owner did a refit in 2014 and is just finishing another complete refit at the present time including the following,

Sanding and varnish of the complete interior, replacing any deteriorated wood. Hull stripped and replaced any questionable planks, re-caulked and replaced any fasteners. Completely went through the deck and cabin, replacing all questionable wood. Most of the cabin top, sides, gunwales, rail cap and parts of the deck was replaced. Mast and spreaders rebuilt with new wiring.

Accommodations include front cabin v-berth with separate door into head. Large hanging locker and extra storage underneath berth. Lots of drawers in passageway, Lounge has pulman berth to starboard converting to double, and Convertible settee to Port with lots of storage under and cabinets on side.
Large galley to port with plenty of storage for long days at sea. 3 burner Force range with oven. Ice box needs refrigerator unit.

in 2015, All electronics was replaced with new Bluesea 12v/110v Switch panel, battery selector switches, 30 amp battery charger, 2200 watt inverter, Furuno SSB with matching Furuno tuner, Furuno Weather-fax with its own antenna and Computer cable for viewing grib weather charts.

Raymarine 140w hybrid touch screen with digital 24 mile radar dome and cabling, new Raymarine transducer with chirp technology and Raymarine 250 digital processor. Back up Furuno GPS with its own antenna.
Standard Horizon VHF with GPS and DSC, with masthead antenna.

Newly rebuilt Yanmar YM30F diesel with all new fuel lines, fuel filter, cleaned and flushed 90 gallon stainless fuel tank

New Dickinson diesel cabin heater with all new fuel lines, valves and fuel pump, never used since installation.

In 2018, All new upholstery, new brass light fixtures, new sink and faucet in galley, new Skipper 3 bronze manual head, new bilge pumps and wiring.
New main and Genoa (2016), Extra main in bag, good condition, Extra genoa in bag, in fair condition. 2 newer halyard winches on main and 2 winches on mizzen, with original bronze winches for jib sheets that work well. All new Halyard, and sheet lines (2015)
New LPG tanks.
