S/V Annatasia was designed by Cecil Boden, and built in New Zealand by her original owner. She has spent many years sailing the world, and offers excellent stability and strength with her deep elongated fin keel, skeg hung rudder, and cambered flush deck. The hull, decks, and bulkhead are all seamless welded steel. She was well maintained and cared for by her builder, but as he aged, she fell into need of some major hull repair. As it sits, she needs to have a few large sections cut out and re-welded. All of the steel is on hand and comes with the boat. If my asking price is met, I will throw in a new Prime Weld plasma cutter/welder combination unit so that you will have all you need to get her in the water.
Annatasia is located within a Live-aboard/DIY friendly yard. The yard had all that a sailor would need while working on her and living aboard, such as showers, laundry, and a nice air conditioned lounge. The yard itself also has on site skilled labor for hire at incredible rates if you would like to pay to have her worked on.
The main cabin has been gutted, and is ready for your own layout. The forward and aft cabins are great as is. A little TLC and they are comfy. Annatasia is a project boat, but could quickly and affordably be flipped to cruise the world. She has done it for many years, and most recently in the USVI. All of the rust damage was caused by improper drainage and poor placement of water tanks. These areas can be inspected, and you can decide if this is right for you. I just don't have time to woe already in place.
