Miriam Elizabeth (ME) has been featured in magazines about her re-birth and custom finish. ME was built C1937, adding several layers of fiberglass to hull, See article. ME is called a forgiving boat for how well she sails and handles in all weathers. She has been clocked at 6.7 knots and is extremely stable in 25k winds. The ease of sailing comes from not having to leave the cockpit for ME is fitted with roller furling. A dry boat, for she also has been e-epoxyied with 4 coats sealed by me and coated internally as well as adding more structural integrity by Brasil Boat Works. Has a dual axel trailer with brakes, safety break away system and new tires(700miles). Boat in garage off season. Easy to maintain with Cetol Marine Natural Teak and Natural Gloss. Little sanding if any every few years. I have a unique system to raise ME so I can paint the hull where boat stands are! See picture.
