Accommodations No boat of comparable size comes close to the Caliber 40. Her sleeping quarters are true staterooms, expansive and private. Instead of a cramped V-berth, it has a full forward cabin with a generous double pullman style berth. There is ample storage space and drawers below; shelf and book rack over berth; mirror vanity with storage under; a large cedar line hanging locker. The master cabin features a private and spacious head with separate shower with plexiglass door. Shower drains to automatic sump system in bilge. The forward cabin and head offers luxurious liveability for extended stays.
The main salon is well illuminated with richly furnished teak. The cabin has 6'5" headroom and a wide beam. The result is a living room that is perfect for entertaining. Two settees offer ample seating and one converts into a double berth, for a total of 7 berths. Two of the berths have lee cloths for passages. Both settees have storage under and behind cushions and teak cabinets above. |
