Description:
Lulea is a USCG Documented, aft cockpit, cutter-rigged, blue water cruiser, fully equipped and ready to cruise! Designed by Stan Huntingford and built by Formosa Boat Building in Taiwan. She shares the hull and interior layout with the mid-80s Passport 42. Lulea has a modified cruising keel (encapsulated) with a sturdy skeg hung rudder and is surprisingly fast with a nice motion when sailed hard. She sleeps 6: The boat has 2 cabins, an aft master cabin and a forward berth, sleeping 2 each, as well as two single berths. There is one large head with spacious shower and tub with seat. Headroom is 64′′or more throughout the boat with incredible storage capacity. Beautiful burmese teak joinery runs throughout. An amazing amount of equipment and upgrades include: bimini, dodger, custom full enclosure, custom stainless arch, hydraulic autopilot, self-steering wind vane, solar panels, wind generator, deep cycle house batteries, inverter, watermaker, air conditioner, Furuno chart plotter and accompanying PC software, GPS, wind, depth, radar, sirius weather, Ham/SSB and Pactor modem, VHF w/AIS receiver, WiFi booster, grill, redundant bilge pumps, stereo system, and more. Included is a lightweight Apex dinghy in great condition, a 15hp outboard, and a 3.5hp outboard. This boat is seriously equipped and ready to cruise. Thanks to the large amount of renewable energy and the efficient watermaker, this boat has plenty of electricity, and can operate indefinitely off-grid, making water and running all electronics, without using a single drop of diesel fuel.
