Description: |
Bazinga is a 2006 Maxim 380 Owners version. Hull number 52, the second last built. She is in great condition and ready to sail away. We are the third owners who have used her lightly and she has never been in the charter industry. THIS SHOWS WITH THE EXCEPTIONALY LOW ENGINE HOURS OF /- 1500 HOURS
She has been very well maintained and comes fully equipped and ready to sail away. These are very strong, capable, and fast cruising catamarans with tons of storage and ample living space.
Maxims were designed by Alex Simonis, and built in South Africa by Maxim Yachts in Durban. Maxims were built robustly and are known for their sea going capabilities. She also has a good turn of speed. An almost twin of the Leopard of the same year, she offers fantastic value compared.
For 38 feet she is incredibly well designed with a suprising amount of storage space and a comfortable upmarket finish. She offers 2 queen berths, a double and 2 single "crew berths" and 2 heads. The owner's cabin is on the Port side forward, with the heads and a good sized shower aft. On the starboard side you find the other queen with the heads and the double berth aft. The U-shape saloon faces aft and seats 8 with the navigation station aft. Enough space for all your guests, yet the privacy of your own hull. |
Equipment: |
The deck is thoughtfully arranged with all the lines leading to the cockpit with no reason to go forward when things get trying. The helm, on the starboard side offers good visibility with the controls where you would expect them to be. The cockpit is also suprisingly spacious and seats 8 with comfortable blue weatherproof sunbrella cushions. The deck off the stern makes easy access to the tender davits and BBQ. The port stern steps offers the swim ladder and hot and cold deck shower. Latest full antifouling Jan 2021
She is supported by a loyal following of Maxim owners on the MAXIM FACEBOOK GROUP. SPECIFICATIONS
