We are selling our 1982 Hughes 31 sailboat. We have sailed her all the way from the North Channel in Spragge, ON to Port Colborne, ON where she is currently docked at Sugarloaf Marina. Samsara is a very sea worthy vessel. We had big plans for her voyage to the Caribbean but plans have been put to a halt due to the border being closed. Were moving to British Columbia for the winter in search of another boat on the Pacific. The Hughes line of sailboats are true cruising boats and are well designed as well as spacious. You can sleep 4 Comfortably as the galley can be turned into a nearly king size bed. It has a robust freeboard and doesn't take on water when the waves get high. Its not built for speed but it can sail into the waves without an issue. A great boat for a small family to get away for the summer or a single hander wanting a great boat to himself. Plenty of storage space and sails great. This is last surveyed in 2011 and was quoted as being in average then better shape for her year of manufacture. It has been appraised at $23,500.
