1963 Pearson Triton One of the world's true classics, this full keel sloop, now in the Sailing World Hall of Fame. Own a piece of yachting history with this vintage beauty,!!!!
Designed by the fabled Carl Albert, built in Bristol, RI. Albert was influenced by the ever-popular, stoutly built Scandinavian Folk Boat. In the early 1980s one Triton 28 was circumnavigated on two different occasion. She can be easily sailed solo in the bay under main alone. Because she was designed under the CCA the mast is positioned enough forward to provide surprisingly good performance.
This particular boat has been completely restored from bow to stern, including a new engine (now with only 120 hours), all systems, the hull, water repellent cushions, deck, and beautiful cherry interior. Nothing was spared in bringing this famous model back to its former glory.
interior includes galley, head, opposing settees, v-berth, ice box, vhf radio, inverter |
