Selling my 1973 26ft JJ Taylor (Contessa) sailboat.
The hull is in good shape, the sails are in good shape, the outboard is less than a year old and has <100 hours on it. The boat is currently in a slip in Titusville, FL. It should be taken out and washed/painted. Other than that, she needs some TLC, including attention to the stanchions. As far as electrical, there is one marine battery with solar panel currently powering a bilge pump. Anything else, you would have to install. In addition to sails and motor, the boat has a 22lb CQR anchor with 45ft of chain and 110 ft of rode chain, all required safety equipment, composting toilet.
Boat has been sailing for most of the past year and a half. I've taken her across Florida and the previous owner took her from the Chesapeake to Florida. The inboard engine was removed prior to 2020 along with the shaft. The cutlass bearing is plugged with a wooden plug and glassed over.
Selling because I need to move this fall and don't have the necessary time to take care of her or get her up north.
